The guys at the Kansas City maker space say don't bother building your own bench dogs, but my $7 dowel jig proved them wrong
Spent a Saturday at their shop and heard three people say store bought is the only way to get square cuts, then went home and drilled 16 holes with a scrap block and a stop collar. Anyone else notice the loudest advice comes from people who never tried the cheap way?
