Spent 4 hours chasing a suction leak on my 8 inch hose, turned out to be a chewed gasket ring
Pump kept losing prime every 20 minutes at the job site off Route 9. Swapped clamps, re-taped joints, pulled the whole line twice. Dumb thing was a gasket ring on the cutterhead side, chewed up by something. 4 hours for a $3 part. What is your go to for finding air leaks on a long suction run?
