Told a fellow taper that using 90-minute mud on a whole house was a bad idea, tried it myself on a 1,200 sqft job in Tulsa last spring and barely had to sand a thing.
He swore by it for saving time on big flat walls, I mixed up a bucket at 7 AM and by noon I was done with two coats on the living room, has anyone else had luck with fast-set mud for full rooms or am I just getting lucky?

90 minute mud on whole rooms saves sanding like crazy if you move fast enough.

Honestly that's such a life hack, shortcuts in work always save me from extra hassle too.

Wait, don't shortcuts sometimes just hide the real work underneath and make things harder to fix later? I've seen people skip steps and end up redoing everything from scratch.
