PSA: The old tech at the shop in Toledo handed me a burnt resistor and said 'this is the one that taught me patience'
He pulled it out of a drawer full of dead parts he kept since the 80s and told me to fix the why, not the what, and I still check the why first on every board that lands on my bench, so what's the one dead part you never threw out?
