Why does nobody say to check hoof balance before blaming the shoe?
Pulled a shoe off a gelding in Bend last month and the whole problem was a medial flare nobody trimmed for 8 months, not the shoe itself. Anybody else see folks jump straight to new shoes when the hoof is just out of whack?
