A tailor in Chicago made me question my love for synthetics
I had a fitting last month for a summer blazer and the tailor, this older guy named Sal, refused to touch my poly blend fabric. He said I was paying for plastic and handed me a swatch of linen-cotton to feel. Honestly I got a little annoyed at first, but then he showed me how the natural fibers breathe and drape differently on the mannequin. Now I'm shopping for a linen blazer even though it costs $150 more. Has anyone else switched fabrics after a pro talked you out of an easy care material?
