My entire sample line of convertible hems came apart during a photoshoot

It happened last Tuesday at the studio in Austin, right as the photographer was setting up. The magnetic snaps I sourced from a supplier called 'FastenRight' failed under studio lights, basically melting the adhesive. Had to pin everything back together with about 200 safety pins for the shoot. Has anyone found a reliable high-heat adhesive or a different closure system for tech fabrics?

Honestly, that reminds me of the time my friend's entire bridesmaid dress zipper gave out.

Tbh @miaprice, I think you mean the back of the dress zipper.

Ugh, magnetic snaps are the worst for that. I had a whole batch of sun hats fail at an outdoor market last summer, the clasps just popped open in the heat. Total disaster, ribbons and hats everywhere. Ended up stitching in regular old plastic snaps as a last-minute fix. Never trusting those magnets again near any kind of heat source.
