Nothing beats the special kind of small talk where you casually mention you're about to block their view for a month. Pull out the brochure at a barbecue like it's no big deal. Always fun to see their smile tighten when you get to the part about the eight-foot privacy section. Really sets the tone for the next decade of sharing a property line.
