Back in 2009 when we bought our first place in Fresno, we had to drive to the lender's office with a big paper folder of pay stubs and bank statements, and I remember the loan officer flipping through it and saying we were missing a page. Last week my nephew applied for a mortgage on his phone during lunch and got pre-approved by dinner. Has anyone else noticed how much of the process moved from handshakes to apps, or is it just me?
