Chose Upwork's 10% cut over Fiverr's 20% on a $1,500 logo gig, lost the client anyway
Client in Chicago found me on both platforms, picked Upwork to pay less fees, then ghosted after the first draft so now I'm out $0 on Fiverr and $0 on Upwork and wondering if the fee gap even matters if nobody pays out, has anyone else had a client juggle both platforms like this?
