Dropped $220 on a Fiverr seller for my gig thumbnails and got 3 sales in a week
I finally paid a designer on Fiverr $220 to redo all 4 of my gig thumbnails after a year of using screenshots I took on my phone. Two of my gigs had been sitting on page 4 for months and I was about to give up on the whole thing. The guy delivered in 3 days, clean layouts, readable text, nothing crazy. Within a week I got 3 orders, which sounds small but it was triple what those gigs did in the whole month before. Here is the weird part: Upwork is where I make my real money and I never touched my profile there, yet I keep wondering if I should pay someone to rewrite that too. My cut on Fiverr already feels rough at 20% and now I'm handing over even more, so some days I can't tell if I leveled up or just paid to stand still. What did you all spend on your gig art, and did it actually pay back or was it just a pretty bandaid?

Spent $40 on mine once and got zero sales, so at least you're only halfway to my level of bad decisions.
