Took me 11 days to get my payout from Fiverr because of one stupid verification loop
So I finally hit $600 on Fiverr last month, right, and I go to withdraw it to my bank in Columbus, and the site keeps bouncing me back to the ID check page. I upload my driver's license, it says pending, then 48 hours later it says I need to verify again. This went on for over a week, and I messaged support 4 times, and each reply was from a different person telling me to clear my cookies and try a different browser. Turns out the real problem was that my legal name on my bank account has my middle initial and my Fiverr profile only had my first and last name, which nobody bothered to mention until support ticket number 5. Once I fixed that one letter, the money showed up in like a day, but I lost almost two weeks of being able to move that cash. Upwork has its own fee mess but at least their payout setup let me link a debit card without the whole song and dance. Has anyone else gotten stuck in a verification loop like this, and did you ever get a real answer from support or did you just keep guessing?
