Ever read that thing about how the best apology is changed behavior? I saw a florist blog once that said when you mess up this bad, you own it completely, no excuses. Send a real handwritten note and refund the whole order without them asking. Then you gotta look at your process and put a system in place so that exact mistake can never happen again. It sucks now but people will remember how you handled it more than the glitter.
