Had a chat with a paralegal friend about flat fees vs hourly...
My buddy Sarah who works at a small firm in Phoenix was telling me how she always quotes flat fees for simple contract reviews, never hourly. She said clients stop second-guessing every line item and just approve the work faster. Got me wondering if I'm losing money by billing by the hour for small stuff... Has anyone else switched to flat fees for basic legal tasks and seen things go smoother?
