Nothing beats that feeling" is so true, but my last attempt at a vinyl set felt more like a panic attack lol. I see what @emma_perez1 means about digital letting you get messy in a clean way. My own gear just lets me make a new kind of mistake.

I caught a set from Objekt at Berghain last year that was entirely digital. The way he sliced and rebuilt tracks on the fly created a tension you just can't get from a linear vinyl set. That room felt more electric than any crackle. The precision of modern gear lets DJs get truly chaotic in a new way. I get the romance of wax, but that raw energy has just moved to a different tool.
