Was a diehard monitor arm hater for 5 years, just caved and bought one off Amazon for $60
I always said those arms looked flimsy and would just sag over time. My buddy Kyle kept pushing me to try his setup after I complained about neck pain from my stack of books. Figured $60 was cheap enough to prove him wrong. Three days in and honestly I can't believe I went this long tilting my neck down like a turtle. The clamp is solid and my desk feels way more open now. Anyone else stubbornly refuse to change their desk setup for way too long?

Dude what kind of neck pain were you having specifically? Like was it more in the back or did it shoot down into your shoulders at all? I'm wondering if my own stubbornness is gonna catch up to me soon.

Wait hold on @aliceharris are you seriously asking about nerve pain symptoms like you're diagnosing a kitchen appliance? Because that's way too specific for someone who hasn't been through it themselves. Sharp stab or dull ache - those are completely different ballgames when it comes to neck issues. The dull ache is worse in my opinion, it just sits there and reminds you every second that you're getting older and your body is falling apart. Kevin might be onto something though, if it's shooting down into your shoulders that's a whole different level of stubbornness you're dealing with.
