inTried that 'fast dry' poly from the hardware store and it ruined a table
I used that Minwax fast dry poly on a cherry desk once. It stayed tacky for three days and picked up every speck of dust in the room. Had to sand it all off with 80 grit and start over with the old oil based stuff. Never again.

inCan we talk about how I was watering my new raised bed garden all wrong
Started watering my raised beds and felt like I was just blessing the soil instead of actually soaking it, water beaded up and ran off like I was trying to hydrate a greased duck. Had to poke holes with a screwdriver just to get moisture down past the first inch, felt like I was performing some kind of gardening exorcism. Ended up mixing in some cheap compost and a bag of topsoil from the local hardware store, now it actually drinks water instead of pretending to be waterproof. Whole thing taught me that "budget soil" is basically just shredded cardboard pretending to be dirt, learned that lesson the hard way after my tomatoes looked like they were on a hunger strike.

inJust realized how much my morning commute changed after switching to a bike 6 months ago
Did you catch that article in the local paper a few weeks back about how biking to work actually lowers your cortisol levels by a decent amount? I remember reading it and thinking that totally explains why I feel less on edge since I started riding. Like lilyt23 said, you don't realize how much all that stop and go traffic is slowly boiling your blood until you're not in it anymore. My buddy still drives and he gets so worked up over red lights and people cutting him off, I can't imagine going back to that. Even when it rains or I'm dead tired, I get off my bike knowing the worst part of my commute wasn't the traffic, it was just a little cold or a little sweat.

inJust learned my rotary hammer bit needs grease every 20 holes
Actually check your manual again, it's 20 uses not 20 holes. The difference matters because one "use" could be drilling a dozen holes if you're doing anchors, or it could be one single hole through slab. I run a RH328VC same as you and I grease the shank every time I swap the bit out basically. Ran mine dry for two months when I first got it and the chuck started getting stiff. Smear a little moly paste on the shank near the collar not down on the tip area where the carbide is.

inFinally realized I was overcleaning my data for 2 years lmao
My roommate spent 3 months cleaning data that ended up being a corrupted CSV file.
