Remember how our moms used to do our hair when we were kids? Mine would soak my hair and then braid it tight while it was wet. I hated how it felt when it dried, all lumpy and weird under the braids. But when she took them out, I had these perfect waves for picture day. It's funny how those old tricks work on the same idea, letting it dry in the shape you want. Makes me wonder what other simple fixes we've forgotten about.
