inA guy in Tulsa told me to stop replacing thermistors on Whirlpool dryers, and he was right
A clogged vent causing weird readings is just basic airflow, that's not some big secret. The thermistor sits in the airstream so yeah, if the duct is packed with lint the heat backs up and the sensor sees temps that don't match reality. Checking the vent first is smart but it's not like every service call turns into a parts swap nightmare, most of the time the right part fixes it fine.

inOverheard a contractor bragging about late fees, made me rethink mine
What happens when the late fee pushes a good client over the edge though? I had a guy who was always 20 days late on $1,500 invoices, but he paid every single time for three years. I finally added a 5% fee and he stopped calling me for new work. Lost maybe $12,000 over the next year to feel right about $75. Sometimes the slow payer is still a payer, and the fee just gives them a reason to find someone who won't charge it.

inStretched beef stew for 4 nights using 2 pounds of chuck
Hold on there. Cabbage is great but it can turn to mush by day three. You gotta add it in stages or it gets that weird smell. Lentils are a solid choice though, they hold up way better. Just saying your leftover texture might be the real issue here. Adding a whole cabbage at once makes everything soggy and watery again. Try throwing half in at the start and half near the end. That keeps some crunch and stops it from turning into soup.
