A cafe in Nob Hill lost my client's logo file and I had to redraw it on a napkin
I was meeting a local bakery owner at a coffee shop on Central Ave last month to hand off final logo files, and she opened her laptop to show me the folder was completely empty. She had deleted everything while cleaning up her desktop. I pulled out a pen, grabbed a paper napkin, and redrew her little wheat stalk logo from memory right there at the table while she watched. She actually liked the napkin sketch better than the original and asked if we could use it. Now I always keep a backup on a flash drive in my bag. Has anyone else had a client wipe out their own files right before a project wrapped?
