Charging a 50% deposit on my first Albuquerque client project got me a reply in 20 minutes
I read a post on here about deposits and decided to try it on a website project for a bakery off Central Ave near Nob Hill. I quoted the job at $850 and asked for half up front, half on launch, and the owner said yes before I even finished my coffee refill. What got me is that nobody pushed back on it, and I spent 3 years chasing final payments for free. Do you all charge a deposit on small jobs too, or just the bigger ones?
