A friend said my AI art looked 'too clean' and it made me rethink my whole process

I've been using a popular image generator for months, making landscapes that were technically perfect but felt flat. My friend, who's a painter, pointed out that the lack of texture and subtle flaws made them feel sterile. Has anyone else gotten feedback that pushed them to adjust their prompts or workflow for more organic results?

Remember my grandma saying my digital photos looked too perfect, like store-bought fruit.

Too clean" is just a nice way of saying it's boring.

I read a photography blog that called this the "curated imperfection" trend. People are adding light leaks or grain back into digital photos on purpose. It's like how new jeans come pre-faded now. The blogger said we miss the texture and little mistakes that make things feel real, not just clean.
