My AI art pipeline hallucinated a logo, cost me a deadline in Denver
I was relying on a generative fill tool to clean up a client's brand mockup last Tuesday. It added a weird extra arm to their mascot and I almost sent it to print, caught it at the final proof check. The AI even flagged the output as 'high confidence', which made me trust it more than I should have. I had to manually redraw the whole element in Photoshop, took about 4 hours of rework. Has anyone else had a tool confidently push out garbage that looked perfect at a glance?

Three hours of my life went to a "smart" object remover that turned a client's glass bottle into a melting candle. The confidence score is just a number, it doesn't mean the pixels are right. You caught it before print, that's the win, even if the fix cost you a night.
