A gray-haired inspector in Wichita changed my mind about flex fuel lines
I always figured flex lines on a Lycoming were a shortcut, but he pulled one off a 172 that had 2,400 hours on it and it looked fine, then told me Continental had more failures with the rigid lines because of vibration cracking. Anyone here actually seen a flex line go bad on its own?
