Bakery job done without setting off the flour sensors.
A tidy install is its own reward.

Seriously, nice work. I read in a trade magazine that some of those flour sensors can pick up dust from like twenty feet away. Your method of wet cleaning as you go is totally the right call, that dry dust just hangs in the air forever. Good talking with the staff first too, because sometimes those things are hidden in weird spots. Getting out clean is the best proof you did the job right.

Sealed the work zone with plastic and ran an air scrubber nearby. Honestly, the prep work makes or breaks these jobs. We wiped down all surfaces with damp cloths to keep dust down. Tbh, communicating with the bakery staff about their sensor locations helped a ton. Moving carefully and cleaning as we went saved us from any false triggers. That feeling when you pack up without a single alarm is unbeatable.

Remembered a job last year where we had to drill into a wall right above a server rack. We used a shop vac with the hose taped right to the drill to catch every bit of dust as it came out. The IT guy was watching us like a hawk the whole time. Felt like a bomb squad team, but we didn't get a single speck on their equipment. That kind of focus changes how you work.
