Rant: that older couple in Sacremento who kept turning their keypad back on after my panel lockout

I spent 40 minutes getting their system secured after a false alarm loop and they stood behind me the whole time saying 'we just like seeing the little lights' while I kept having to re-arm it, so has anyone else dealt with customers who sabotage their own panel because they're scared of a dark keypad?

Little lights" give me flashbacks, my grandma did the same with her old microwave clock.
