Just realized the old guy at the parts counter in Mesa was right about stocking belts
Stopped by a supply shop in Mesa for a dryer belt and the guy behind the counter told me to grab two of every common size. I laughed it off, said I run a tight truck. Three days later I drove 40 minutes back to that same shop for the exact belt I passed on. He just smiled and rang me up again. I keep a milk crate of spare belts and tensioners on the truck now. Any of you keep a standby stock, or am I just slow to catch on?

Man, that parts guy knew the game better than I did, my spare fuses sat in a drawer for a year untouched.
