Rant: had a dryer vent line packed with 3 years of lint, and the homeowner swore they cleaned it every spring
Pulled the flex duct behind the dryer on a Tuesday service call here in Grand Rapids and it was so caked I could barely push a brush through it, plus the whole run was 22 feet of sagging foil when the manual calls for rigid pipe under 8 feet max. Got it swapped to solid duct with two elbows and the dry time dropped from 70 minutes to 35. Anyone else seeing more of these flexible duct installs lately, or is it just my area?
