I thought that $40 archaeology magazine subscription was a waste until it printed a site map for a dig 20 minutes from my house
I sat on the fence for months because $40 felt steep for something I might skim, but the March issue pointed me to a survey project in my own county that I never heard about through any of the free sites I check. Has anyone else had a cheap subscription actually lead them to a real dig, or was this just dumb luck?
