Just realized I lost a whole Saturday to a charging cable and a bad outlet
Last Saturday I plugged my phone in at 11pm and woke up to 8 percent battery, so I spent the morning swapping cables and bricks like an idiot. Turned out the outlet in my bedroom was the problem, and the tester I bought for $12 at the hardware store showed an open ground in about 5 seconds. I moved the charger to the hallway outlet and it pulled a full charge in under 2 hours. So what cheap tool did you buy that made you feel dumb for waiting so long to get it?

Man that tester thing is a game changer, found out half my kitchen outlets were dead the same way and felt like such a dummy. Should've grabbed one years ago instead of playing cable roulette every time my phone died lol.
