Paid $80 for a parking app ticket that never arrived
Last month I used one of those pay-by-phone parking apps downtown in Nashville. The app showed a confirmed booking, but when I got back to my car there was a $35 ticket on the windshield. The app said I paid, the city says they never got it. I tried disputing with the app, they blamed the city, the city blamed the app. Ended up paying the ticket plus a late fee, so $80 total down the drain. Has anyone else had this gap between app confirmation and actual enforcement? Is there a way to make these apps responsible?
