The office printer jammed for the 5th time this month, turns out it was my fault

Ngl, I spent all week blaming the ancient HP in the break room. Every morning around 9:30 it would eat paper like a monster. I was about to put in a ticket to replace it. Then on Thursday I noticed the paper tray was loaded wrong. The flap was folded under, so the sheets were catching on it. I fixed it in 10 seconds and it's been fine since. Makes me wonder how many other 'broken' things in my life are just me missing a small step. Has anyone else had a simple fix they ignored for way too long?
