Heard a guy at the observatory in Flagstaff say he shoots 200 frames per target and keeps only the best 20
I tried that on Andromeda last month and the stack came out way cleaner than my usual 50 shot runs, so now I am wondering how many frames you all usually toss vs keep for a faint galaxy like that?

200 feels like overkill, I'd toss way fewer.
