My sister waited 14 weeks on a survey in Blacksburg last year so you're not alone. What finally worked for her was calling the county surveyor's office and asking who they use for their own work. That gave her a short list of people who actually show up. She had a new guy out in 9 days after that. The other thing she did was send a certified letter to the second company so there was a paper trail when they tried to blame her for the delay. Got $250 back from them too. Next time skip the internet search and go straight to the county office, they know who's reliable.
