My buddy swears phone shots of the moon are fake, but I got a decent one in my driveway in El Paso last night
He texted me a screenshot of some post claiming every clear moon photo on the internet is either a telescope shot or photoshopped, and honestly it got in my head for a bit. Then I propped my phone on the hood of my truck, set the exposure down two notches, and got craters that actually looked like craters, not a glowing white blob. So now I'm stuck between thinking phone cameras are way better than people give them credit for, or that stacking apps are doing the real work and nobody admits it. Where do you all land on this, is a phone moon shot worth posting or should it stay in the camera roll?
