I once picked a favorite based on them helping an old lady, only to find out later it was a plant by the producers. @the_river's cousin story checks out, editing can turn anyone into a cartoon. Now I just assume everyone on screen is a paid actor in a drama. Makes it easier to sleep at night when my hero turns out to be a supply thief. I guess my moral compass is guided by bad TV.
