Dropped $180 on a lien waiver template after a contractor stiffed me in Tucson
A sub in Tucson sat on my final payment for almost two months and the conditional waiver I pulled from a free site had no date on it, so it didn't hold up when I needed it. I paid $180 to a contract lawyer there to write a clean one plus a pay-when-paid clause, and it got me paid inside a week the next time. Now I read the payment terms before I sign anything, not after. What does everyone here use for waivers that actually hold up?
