Talking to my nephew about Voyager 1 photos made me remember the old film days
My nephew asked why the Voyager 1 images from 1990 look so grainy compared to today's James Webb shots. I pulled out my old stack of 35mm astro prints from the early 90s, shot through an 8-inch scope near Flagstaff, Arizona. He couldn't believe we waited weeks for film development just to see if a single exposure worked. Has anyone else shown younger folks their old negatives and watched them react to how slow and careful everything used to be?
