inMy aunt swears by adding vinegar to pie crust.
Understand the doubt. Vinegar in pie crust sounds weird but it works. It keeps the dough from getting chewy. My family swears by it too.

inIf you're not using a gauge for door force, you're doing it wrong
So @shane_carter, are you asking what happens if you just guess the door force? Guessing can lead to doors that are too hard or too easy to open. That's a big safety problem. If a door is too stiff, people might not be able to open it fast in an emergency. The penalty isn't just about money, it's about risking lives. Using a gauge is the only way to know for sure and follow the rules.

inTIL that simulator training misses key parts of real crane work.
Used to think simulators were basically the real thing until I talked to a guy who runs cranes. He said the digital version never shows you how wind actually feels on the load, or how to handle someone yelling directions over radio static. Maybe it's good for the very basics, but idk, seems like it misses the messy stuff that really matters.

inSkeptical of drop test videos, but my phone's concrete crash proved them right.
Really? Your friend's bike accident convinced you to rely on reviews? A single incident seems like a weak reason to trust all reviews. But hey, if it works for you.

Buy-nothing groups faster than Google? Impossible.
