Last Tuesday was my worst freelancing day in 2 years
I had three client calls cancel back to back, then my laptop died mid-project and I lost 4 hours of edits. The kicker was a $200 invoice I sent out in April getting rejected because they said I used the wrong formatting. Anyone else ever have a day where everything just breaks at once?

My friend had this exact kind of day last month lol. She had three Zoom calls in a row where the internet just kept cutting out on her end, then her cat walked across her keyboard and deleted half a client file she was working on. The really bad part was she realized she'd been billing a client wrong for three months and had to go back and redo all the invoices. She said she just sat there staring at her wall for a solid 10 minutes after that one.

Honestly used to think those days were just people being dramatic lol. But reading about the billing thing for three months made me realize how one small mistake can just snowball into something huge. The cat walking across the keyboard part is too real honestly - sometimes technology just decides to betray you at the worst possible moment. Sitting there staring at the wall for 10 minutes is basically the universal sign you've hit your limit for the day.

Nah, gotta push back a bit on this one. A laptop dying mid-project is brutal but thats why I save every 5 minutes like clockwork. The invoice thing though? That one is on you for not double checking their formatting rules before sending it out. Every client has their own way they want stuff done and its part of the job to get that right the first time. Those calls cancelling back to back is just a rough break though, those days happen to everyone.
