Marathon parking near Piedmont Park is getting sketchy after dark

I parked off Monroe Drive last Saturday for a late evening run and came back to my rear window smashed, probably around 8pm. The CVS lot on the corner had two other cars hit the same night, so I'm switching to the Marta lot on Lindbergh and walking the extra 10 minutes. Anyone else had issues at the street spots near the park lately?

@the_hayden it aint a war zone but i always park near the MARTA station lights and toss a blanket over my backseat, worked so far.

i mean, one bad night and suddenly the whole area is sketchy? that coulda happened anywhere honestly. people smash windows in buckhead too, it's not like monroe drive is some war zone. you happened to park in the wrong spot at the wrong time, that's all. the cvs lot thing is probably just a coincidence too, cars get broken into there all the time cause it's a busy corner with people coming and going. walking from lindbergh sounds like more hassle than it's worth for a ten minute difference. i've parked around piedmont park at night plenty of times and never had an issue, maybe you just got unlucky.
