Stood outside the old bank building on Marietta St for 20 minutes and saw the same guy walk past 3 times looking lost
I was waiting on a friend near the old bank building on Marietta St last Thursday and noticed this guy pacing the sidewalk. He stopped at the corner, checked his phone, turned around, went back the same way, and did it again about 4 minutes later. Third pass he finally asked me if I knew where a certain coffee shop was. I pointed him 2 doors down and he said his maps app kept sending him in a circle because the pin was off by a block. He looked at me like I'd just handed him keys to a car. Got me thinking about how many people meet up around here using pins that don't match the real spot. If the address is off even a little, folks wander for 15 minutes and give up. Makes me wonder how anyone ever found each other here before phones. Do the pins on some of these newer spots downtown actually line up for you, or is it just me?
