I've got a 2021 F-150 with the 3.5 EcoBoost and I'm torn between 5 Star Tuning and Bully Dog for a mild tune that won't kill my daily driveability. I do a mix of highway commuting and occasional towing, so I don't need anything crazy. Has anyone run either on a similar setup? How's the throttle response and transmission behavior compared to stock? I've read good things about both but can't decide.

Bully Dog is fine if you want a plug-and-play device with a few options, but 5 Star is known for really dialing in the EcoBoost. I've been running their 87 octane tow tune for a year now and it's perfect for daily driving. No weird surging or harsh shifts. Definitely worth the little extra money.
