Pro tip: I thought solar path lights were a scam until I stopped putting them in the shade
Bought a 6 pack of cheap ones at Menards back in April and almost returned them, they died out by 10pm every night. Turns out I had them under my maple tree and the little panels only got about 2 hours of sun. Moved them out to the open fence line and now they run till sunrise, been 3 months now. The box says 8 hours of charge time and I figured that was marketing talk. Anyone else figure out a spot in their yard that made a big difference?
