Unpopular opinion: the tiny yard behind the duplex on Sycamore St in Louisville beats any big lawn I've had
Stayed at a friend's rental there for 9 days while my fence got replaced, and his whole yard is maybe 400 square feet. But he packed in a gravel patio, 6 potted tomatoes, and a two seat bistro table, and we ended up out there every single night. My place has 10 times the grass and I honestly never sit in it. Anyone else shrink their yard on purpose and like it more?
Man, I feel this so much... my last place had a huge backyard and I maybe used it five times in two years, mostly just to mow it. Now I've got a little gravel patch with a fire pit and two chairs, and I'm out there every night it's not raining. It's weird how much more you use a space when it actually has a purpose.
