I counted 63 chair hours in one week and I can't decide if that's a badge or a warning
Last month my shop in Tacoma logged 63 hours in the chair between me and my two guys, which is the most we've ever done in a single week. Half of me says that's proof we're building something real, the other half says it means I'm one slow week from a bad mood at home. My wife pointed out I missed two of my kid's games that same week, and that number stung worse than the 63. So which is it, is a packed book the goal or a trap? Would love to hear from barbers who cap their hours on purpose, what number did you land on and how did you pick it?
