Paid a $150 rush fee to get my contract reviewed in 24 hours and the guy missed the auto renewal clause entirely
I was up against a deadline to sign with a new retainer gig in Denver, so I paid extra for the fast turnaround instead of my usual guy who takes a week. The clause he skipped would've locked me in for 18 months at a flat rate, and I only caught it because my partner reads contracts for fun. Has anyone found a reviewer who actually earns the rush fee, or am I better off just waiting the week next time?
