Hit my 50th brisket last weekend and it was a total disaster

I've been keeping a log of every brisket I've cooked on my offset smoker, and last Saturday was number 50. The fire kept dying on me and the temp dropped to 180 for almost an hour right when I wrapped it. Has anyone else had a milestone cook go completely sideways?

Did you name that brisket "number 50" in honor of all the ones you ruined before it?

Ngl, it's just a brisket name, not that deep. People really out here getting offended over meat nicknames?

Respect where you're coming from, but calling a brisket "ruined" just cause the cook went sideways feels a little harsh. I mean, my 30th brisket was a similar disaster where my firebox gasket blew out and I had to finish it in the oven wrapped in foil at 250. That ended up being one of the juiciest ones I've ever pulled off the bone. Sometimes a messed up fire can actually work in your favor, especially if you catch it early enough. Maybe that 50th one turned out better than you think, even if it wasn't picture perfect.
