PSA: saw a guy at a laundromat in Tulsa fold a week of clothes in 12 minutes and it messed me up
He wasn't rushing, he just wasn't on his phone between shirts, and I realized my own breaks stopped being breaks around the time I started calling them breaks, so now I'm wondering if anyone else has caught themselves "resting" with a screen in their face and felt more tired after.
Honestly the part that got me is that his break was just not having a break, which sounds awful until you realize he left in 12 minutes and you're still there at minute 40. My phone "rests" have never once made me feel rested, they just make folding shirts take an hour. Dude basically found a cheat code and it was just doing the thing.
