Showerthought: Watching one show episode after work tasks stops my burnout
I found a hack that really works for my remote job. After I finish a big task, I let myself watch one episode of a light show. It acts like a mini reward and keeps me going. Before, I would just push through and end up drained by noon. Now, I pick shows that are about 30 minutes long so it's a perfect break. This has helped me stay fresh and actually get more done. My coworkers and I even swap show ideas in our group chat. It turns boring work days into something I look forward to.

What comedy show would you recommend for this? I tried The Office again but I know every line now. I switched to Parks and Rec and it's good but my attention is still shot sometimes. I probably need to find a new show but I'm too lazy to look.

I hit the same wall with those shows last year. Brooklyn Nine-Nine pulled me out of it because the humor is just different enough.

Community might work since its style changes so much each episode. The randomness could keep your brain from tuning out.

Oh man, I used to think shows needed a steady vibe. But @william_bell35 is onto something, that change-up in Community sounds perfect for a fried brain.
